Hey All!!!

We are officially relocating to Trolley's Downtown Bar & Grille!!!

This will be a really great move for us!

We will still meet at 7pm for class and dance from 8pm until 11pm.

For now, the prices are going to be the same:

Class is $4 for Swing Springfield club members and $7 for our guests!

Dancing is still FREE!!!

We'll be located in their Level 2 area, so when you get there, head for the stairs. We'll have a wood floor, built in sound system, plus they'll have great drink and appetizer specials for us!

Tell your friends! Drag your co-workers! This is the latest greatest thing to happen in Springfield, so come be a part of it!!

Don't forget to keep checking the forums for other happenings of the Downtown Dance Project or keep checking Dance With Me for other dance training, workshops or videos offered by Swing Springfield!

Just to make sure everyone is aware:

We are trying something different out with our classes on wednesday's at Trolley's.

at 7pm, we're going to offer a $3 class on nothing but basics. Here we'll focus on just the basics and the technique and execution of the basics. This will be for any new people plus any dancers really interested on honing their social dance skills and push them selves beyond a novice dancer.

at 7:30pm we'll do our normal swing class which may be a little challenging for our brand new people as we look at more intermediate and advanced level step patterns and techniques. This class will remain $4 for swing club members and $7 for non-members.

This should wind us up by about 8:30pm, still leaving plenty of time for social dancing, etc.

Anyone who wishes to take advantage of both classes can do so for a mere $1 more than the original class fee, or both classes for $5 for swing club members and $8 for non-members.

We're hoping this will encourage our new people as well as help our existing dancers keep dancing!

Make sure you bring your friends out! We appreciate all the new people trying out swing dancing and catching the fever that drives the rest of us!

Anyone thinking of coming out to swing night for the first time, remember that if you just want to give it a try, the class in swing basics is just a half-hour and only $3, no major commitment in time or money, just enough so you can see what it's all about and get moving on the dance floor!

No cover charge for anyone who just wants to come out after 8:30p and just dance!

So come out, have a few drinks with friends, have dinner or a late snack, and most importantly, come out and dance!
