Saturday, March 15 is the day of the parade. EVERYBODY is welcome. Not just swing club members. We will probably be dancing mostly east coast swing. Also some Charleston, which we'll be teaching tonight at Bruno's, our new swing night location. If you can couple up with someone that would be good. Ask around and see who's going. Ladies... you can ask too. Don't just leave it up to the guys!! It's not a date... we're just social dancing!

Anybody who wants to be with us in the parade, be at Moore Printing, 610 N. Jefferson at 11:15, Saturday morning. There is a parking lot to the north of the building you can use. We'll be decorating our float until about noon and then heading to the area where they are organizing the parade.

We have some cool green hats for sale, if you'd like to wear one with us in the parade. They cost $5. We'll be dressed in black or dark pants and green tops/jackets and the aforementioned green hats. There is supposed to be some rain in the morning, but the afternoon looks good. Right now anyway!! We'll have candy to throw and beads to wear as well. Oh, and we'll be handing out flyers for our swing night.

Below is the schedule for the parade. Post or email if you have any questions.

Thanks!!
DA

Hey y'all... the weather is looking a bit knarly for Saturday, but we'll be there, rain or shine. Since it looks like it's going to be pretty chilly, wear whatever you want to stay warm. Jeans are fine... we'll still have our green hats to unify us!! The rain is supposed to be gone by noon or so... I guess we'll see. Andy and I might be walking the parade with umbrellas and blankets!! Terry will have the best seat!!

Hey, we might have a better chance of taking first!! Laughing

It will be a grand day tomorrow, history will show us that all will be green with envy. and the more you move the warmer you will be! Is hot chocolate with a bit of bailey's irish cream and whiskey the drink of choice then! Smile

MacDAnne: Ah, a grand soft day, huh?

MacDB: Aye, 'tis that young Walls. I was wondering if I might have a dance.

MacAndy: What do you want to have a dance with her about?

MacDB: Well, ah, would you like to come and ride with me on
the jeep and parade about?

MacAnne: In this weather? You're out of your mind.

MacDB: Oh, it's good Irish weather, madam. The rain is fallin'
straight down, well slightly to the side like.

MacAndy: She cannot go parade with you.

MacDB: No?

MacAnne: No the 'morrow, anyway.

MacDB: Not the 'morrow?

MAcAndy: No the 'morrow. We'll see you later.

Murron: 'O the weather's just fine. It's hardly raining.

there are Scottish Leprechauns in my dementia induced world.
Next the your going to tell me is that the world is not flat or some non-sense.
Children never fall down until someone introduces them to the laws of gravity. Eve had to pick the apple from the tree, it did not fall from the tree until Sir Newton jotted down his three laws......I digress....
So we have learned that drunk Scottish Leprechauns will only stagger if they are uneducated, its the "schooled" ones that fall down.
ahem

Do you have whatever we need to attach the banner to the trailer? Do you have anything that's about 5' long that we could attach to the bottom of the banner to keep it from flopping... if it's windy...

Do we need to bring any tape or tools or ...?
